Moto G7 has been in the news for a while now since the upcoming smartphone from Motorola has been subjected to a lot of leaks as well as rumours. The Moto G7 will reportedly be the first smartphone from the company to come with a water drop notch design and a new report has revealed its alleged specifications as well as India launch.
According to a report by 91Mobiles, the Moto G7 was spotted on FCC (Federal Communications Commission) which a US certification site and while it was listed with the model number Motorola XT1962 and XT1862-6, the latter will be launched as the Indian version.
The FCC listing suggests that there will be a 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage option along with a higher-end 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant while the Moto G7 will also be launched with NFC support and electronic compass in certain regions. The listing further revealed that the Moto G7 will come with support for dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) as well as fast charging.
While there was no mention of any other specifications of the Moto G7, earlier reports have suggested that the Moto G7 will sport a 6-inch IPS LCD display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and waterdrop notch and it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC under the hood. For optics, there could be a 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear camera setup with LED flash while at the front, the smartphone might feature a 12-megapixel selfie camera. The whole package is expected to be backed by a 3000mAh battery with Turbo Charge support.
